This home reminds me of when you would go to your Grandmother's house and she would make you your favorite fudge or cookies. The homes decor is beyond words beautiful. The garden is somewhere I never want to leave. Mary makes your stay so special, she's like your mother away from home but quickly accepts you into her own extended... More

If you LOVE LOVE Victorian decor and antiques and the busy visual stimuli that goes along with that era, you will enjoy staying at this Bed and Breakfast. The only drawback that sways me from staying there again is there was no place to put my things like a regular hotel- and I'm a light packer. The bathroom was a... More

For the price of a Super 8 (or less), you can have extreme comfort close to downtown Burlington. The decor isn't very guy-like, but Victoriana lovers will be in heaven. Beds/pillows are very comfortable and the shared bath is spotless. Mary, the cheerful owner, sends you off with a hearty breakfast included in the price, mine was biscuits and gravy.... More

As reviewed prior, this is a wonderful option to the same old same old hotel stay. Cozy, comfortable, a mini-vacation even if on a business trip! There is a kitchen on the second floor which I took advantage of this trip. A microwave, fridge and of course, the mandatory coffee pot! Oh, did I mention the yummy Cookie Jar? I... More

The Wild Rose Manor Guest House was one of the BEST experiences we have ever had, and we have stayed in B and B's world-wide. What made our stay exceptional was our hostess and her three-legged cat, who went above and beyond in making our time there wonderful. We were provided with a guest gift basket with soap etc., delicious... More

As usual I check Trip Advisor for the review of hotels in towns I am visiting for the first time. Needing a change from the same old hotel I read the reviews for the Wild Rose and checked out the website. To my surprise, I found it very affordable to stay at this B & B and decided to give... More

I have stayed two times at the Wild Rose. Each time I chose a different room...just to enjoy the varied atmosphere. Every room is delightful and beautiful and the bed is deliciously comfortable. It is indeed a "little bit of heaven." In the morning the newspaper was waiting for me at the top of the stairs and so I enjoyed... More

Beautiful home showcasing victorian antigues. The accomodations were nice. The host "Mary" was very nice and gracious. Continental breakfast first morning and then second morning a hugh western omelet with bacon and a lot of extras. I had never stayed at a B&B before so this was a treat. If you need a place to crash while you are in... More
