This is a very nice hotel geared towards the "Trucker" not the "White Collar" snob. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice place to stay if you can go a day without your laptop. What Cedar Rapids offers, good people, a nice room, and a good meal, at a reasonable price. more

I guess the best way to start this review is to say that the Heartland Inn is not for the professional, white-collar business traveler, it's just not. We stayed here for a night while doing an antique show in Cedar Rapids. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. The beds had newer mattresses and the pillows were great. Recently stayed at the Heartland Inn on Oct. 2nd and liked it so well - my daughter and I came back and stayed again on Oct 8th and 9th. We stayed at other motels on our trip but none compared to the Heartland Inn. Wish we had Heartland Inns here in Washington, preferrably on the coast. more
