We were just passing through going east from Omaha. Decided to stay here for the night. They are doing a lot of remodeling and when we turned on the faucets - you could tell they had been off for a while. Lots of equipment in the hallways. Desk staff was nice. Room was fine. I gave this hotel an above average rating because of the location. You can't beat being right next to the casino. The rooms are clean, and the front desk staff has always been friendly. The small pool area is nice. I always stay here when in Council Bluffs. more

Spent 4 nights here in late Feb. 2007. This hotel is attached to the Amerstar Casino. Had suite with separate bedroom and sitting room for $116/night. This is the place.. My husband and I find this a nice, relaxing, but yet entertaining. We have now stayed here 3 times in the last 6 months. Just to get away, we get the whirpool suite (we live 1 hour away). Excellant ajoining restaurants, nearby shopping and you can even get away and gamble if you please. more
