This hotel was once a motel. Refurbished who knows how long ago. My few observations are as follows. 1) Anywhere that has to buzz you in at night to get into the lobby. Maybe not the best location 2) Don't go swimming you might get hepatitis. The tile is black and you can't see the bottom of the pool. 3)... more
Sure, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but for 70 dollars a night, the Quality Inn and Suites more than met my expectations. Kudos to the friendlyladies at the front desk and the shuttle driver (airport pickup and dropoff as well as a ride to and from a concert at the Westair Amphitheatre). The hotel also provided a free hot breakfast... more
I contacted th propoerty directly, but not before checking the rate online. Once I had checked in on May 12, 2007 the rate jumped up $15.00. The clerk was not helpful at all. She said she was sorry but this is what the rate is now. For tht rate we could have stayed closer to the Mid America Center. The... more
the only good thing about this hotel was the friendly desk clerk. the room was not clean, the shower had human hair in the shower and on the floor, i saw a few ants crawling around, the walks had not been shoveled at all. while we were waiting to check in people were complaining about not being able to get... more
Does this hotel show a little wear around the edges? Yes, most hotels do. Is it well maintained? Yes. The employees are very nice and helpful. The shuttle can get you almost anywhere in a 5-mile area (casinos, pharmacy, airport, downtown Council Bluffs or the Old Market in Omaha) Dollar tip here and there gets better service. Breakfast has eggs,... more
The people that work in this hotel were without fail friendly and helpful. Our family of 5 went on a long trip this summer and at several hotels the people were rude or maybe if they weren't rude they were cold and unhelpful. Just one example is that when our train was late the shuttle driver picked us up after... more
My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn on Saturday, August 12, 2006. The lobby appearance is nice, but I wished I could say the same thing about the room. The front desk clerk was friendly and fast to check us in. We received a room on the 1st floor that had an interior AND and exterior entrance door,... more
We stayed at the hotel for a conferece I had in Omaha. Excellent access to downtown Omaha and the interstates but there is no pedistrian access across the river. Room was very large with microwave and refrigerator. Pool was small but well maintained. Breakfast was good quality but this is the first place we stayed where you had to use... more
We read the other good ratings of this place and thought it would be OK, given its proximity to downtown Omaha. However, the other reviews were highly misleading. This facility is old and run down. Half of the parking lot was closed, so we had to drive through the parking lot of the pawn shop next door and over a... more
