We were diverted from original plan of staying in Council Bluffs because of the flooding. I was nervous to go 5 Miles off I-80 but was pleasantly surprised when we pulled in. Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, and towels were very soft. Town is charming and The Danish Inn one block away had great food. Would stay again. More

Hotels between Council Bluffs and Des Moines leave something to be desired. Mom and Pop shops, English optional, that seem run down and get more run down every year. Extremely comfortable accomodations with a very caring and knoledgeable front desk staff. Easy to walk to all Danish community attractions with the town's landmark Windmill just acroos the street. Stacy at the front desk was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We only stayed one night. We also received a coupon for dinner close by. Was suprised how nice this hotel was. Rooms were clean and spacious. Front desk was friendly. Gave us an awesome deal for staying there for so long. The lobby was big. Breakfast had variety to it. We loved staying here. The motel is about 1 year old. The staff was great. Sharon was particularly nice. We loved how it was set on the edge of town, across from the last windmill allowed to leave Denmark. We visited the area from NYC to see the State Cornhusking Contest. More
