I'm just back from spending a weekend in the Southwest room at Ray and Shirley's great B&B. They haven't been in the business long, but they've figured out a great mix of friendliness and privacy, excellent food and comfortable beds, hot showers and good directions. They are the best Inn keepers in Iowa City. Excellent location, close to everything. Nice clean, large, quiet rooms. Breakfast was perfect every morning. You can walk to town in only a few minutes.
