We spent 2 nights here at the end of a 2-week vacation through Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. The location is outside of McGregor, just south of Pikes Peak State Park. There is an awesome view of the Mississippi from the deck (see picture below), and it is very quiet. They also allow guests to bring and stable their horses.

The rooms are part of the owners house and are clean and comfortable. We stayed in the downstairs "suite", where we had a huge area that consisted of basically the basement of the home. We had 2 very comfortable queen beds, a small dining table, and a living area with wood stove, entertainment center, sofa and rocking chair that opened out onto a large patio with picnic tables and folding chairs. The bathroom had a small frig and a shower.
