The Hotel is in a very good location, close to the attractions and easy to locate from the Interstate. We were traveling late (after midnight,) and the manager was waiting for us and very friendly, informative, and accommodating to our request (the Hotel accepts pet, and I have allergies. Stayed here on a Friday. Checked in and it took around 20 minutes to check in, then they upgraded our room and it wasn't an upgrade, more like a down grade. The Heritage Inn was a very good hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and personable. The rooms, pool, and other amenties were clean, large, and very nice. The hotel is nearby the Amana Colonies for shopping, festivals, and cultural experiences. The two restaurants that the hotel has deals with for reduced prices and hot breakfasts have excellent German food!!... more
