I stay at a Holiday Inn Express hotel, my preferred chain, almost every week. There are lots of amenities for the kids; pool, putting green, and Wii in the bar/restaurant. We asked for a room away from the pool which was ok. Would agree with the other reviews. Very dated. Small rooms, but were clean. Beds on our first floor room were average comfort. The real positive was the staff. Old, outdated...The rooms surround the pool area and it is very musty! Definite smell! Though many websites show flat screen tvs in rooms, don't believe it---OLD box tvs in most.
