One the ride home from our vacation we stayed in this KS Motel 6. The price for a basic low quality motel was outrageous at $85!!! We stayed in GA at a similar place and it was great furnature, comfortable room, clean towels and bathrooms for $45! We get to KS and first of all couldnt find a gas station... more

Don't ever stay at the Motel 6 in Lenexa KS. Let what happened to me be your warning. I'd made a reservation online for a room with a fridge and microwave for me, and a regular room for the person traveling with me. This Motel 6 is a large one, two floors, busy. After 8 PM, the front desk is accessible only behind safety glass, but we had no problems. PROS: Good price in a big city. Clean. We checked in and went to our room it smelled bad and was not all that clean the tv did not work right so we could not get that many stations. The pool area was filthy the overall look of the motel was run down we were not very pleased at all. more

After checkin we went to the room. Later that afternoon we came back from the Hospital to go to sleep, we pulled the blanket back and on the pillow case was a huge "red" stain it looked like blood.
