I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with my partner. The motel is on the south edge of Pittsburg, not far from Pitt State, restaurants and cinema. This hotel is a joke..I booked online and the pics they show lead you to believe that the rooms are clean, the pool is beautiful, and you get an awesome free continental breakfast...but it's all a lie..the room we stayed in was supposed to be smoke and pet free, but you could smell stale smoke and some kind of nasty... more
I booked a nonsmoking room. I was told that was only subject to availability, Yeah right! When I entered my room I could barely stay standing. Refurbished from several previous named hotels, quite down from its original incarnation in the 1960's. Lobby/breakfast room best feature but not breakfast. "Hot" is make your own waffles, the white bread and stale donuts--awful. Room didn't have phone or clock. TV without network channels. AC was loud and woke me up, then froze me.
