We had stayed at this location in the past when it was a Holiday Inn Express. Two weeks prior to our stay, the property was transferred to AmericInn. The doors had been repainted, and the blue masking tape was still in place. Not a professional job, since splotches of beige were found on the walls as well. We found a cricket outside our door and two spiders in the room. The Critter Catchers truck parked outside should have tipped us off. Hotels in this area change hands quite often -- Holiday Inn was right to dump this one. On the positive side, the breakfast bar was well-stocked. more
