Upon arrival, I inspected the spacious room, which was fairly clean. Ripped back the bedspread and inspected the sheets. They were clean. The carpet was marginal, but OK. The bathroom did not look clean enough to me, so I "mopped" the floor with a towel and wiped down the fixtures and counters with clorox wipes. The tub faucet leaked a... more

This is a terrible place!! The front desk person sent us to the wrong room but never bothered to tell us she had changed the room. Then when I asked her about it she acted like we should have read her mind. "Non-smoking room" not that is joke here. Our room smells as if our whole family was smoking. The... more

We stayed for the pool which was very nice...but the mold in the room kind of took away from anything else. It was everywhere. They are doing reconstrucion...we saw massive black walls underneath the wall paper... (all mold)....we thought we could at least last one night...I broke out in hives and my husband had a massive migraine...there were cigeratte burns... more

This is the most disgusting hotel anywhere!!! We were promised 2 non-smoking and one smoking room, but were given all smoking rooms. There were 12 of us traveling to Wichita for a family reunion. 1) Our room had the wallpaper peeling off the wall, and there was visible mold under neath. 2) The fire alarm was disconnected from the wall... more

This stay was overall a bizarre experience. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport Hilton where we had a wedding and reception to attend- couldn't afford the rates at the Hilton and this EconoLodge was less than half the price. You get what you pay for! First of all, there was never anyone at the front... more

I was in town for a speech tournament this year, and as part of a large group, this was all that was available anywhere in Wichita. We were given smoking rooms (again, all that was left) but the smell was beyond just cigarette smoke. We had to invest in many air fresheners for our room, but even then the smell... more

\ The management has leased their restrauant to someone who has converted it into a night club. The name is Lighting Joes and is open Thursday to Saturday. It is open until 1:30 am and the music made my room (220) shake. I called the front desk at around 11:00 pm and was told they would quiet the noise down.... more

Generally dirty and run-down.Complained first night about roaches in the bathroom. Promised treatment which never happened. Part of a large convention so only place left in town, hence no choice. Management claimed room was treated mid-week but nobody told the bugs. At check-out asked for price concession: management (contacted by phone) subsequently agreed to review bill and adjust (naturally never... more

First night key would not work. Of course the room I had was a smoking room however the smell in the room was more like a mold smell. Perhaps it had something to do with the large water spots on the ceiling. (got a scented candle and it was fine). Had to unplug lamp to be able to use microwave... more

Hotel Management was friendly and helpful. The Hotel however offered very little in comforts. Noise from rooms above (walking), and on sides (persons talking), was disturbing. Shower was constructed for midgets, though good water pressure. Many items of the hotel were in noticebly run down or in disrepair. Surrounding area was dismal, with no decent eating establishments within walking distance.... more
