We stayed at the John Fitch Cottage in Bardstown for a couple of nights while on the Bourbon Trail. The cottage was very neat and clean upon our arrival with some breakfast food already in the kitchen. The big jacuzzi tub in the back of the house was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day, or... More

We stayed in the two bedroom, two bath Pioneer Park Cottage. It was very comfortable and so beautifully decorated. It was much better than any hotel room in the area and very economical sharing the cost with another couple. We definitely recommend the Pioneer Park Cottage...clean and inviting...Kentucky hospitality awaits you here.

The John Fitch Cottage had all the amenities we needed for our 3 night stay. All rooms are on one level, which is a benefit to anyone who needs assistance with stairs. Our hosts were gracious in answering our questions about Bardstown and its surroundings. The cottage was clean when we arrived, and was nicely refreshed when we returned each... More

We stayed in the John Fitch Cottage and found it exactly to our desires. The cottage was well maintained and tended, displaying a lot of charm yet modern amenities for being built in the 1800s. The hot tub in the backroom is spacious, warm and has nice touches like votive candles. Decor could be described as minimal--one small TV, modest... More

We stayed at the Colonels Cottage for one night as a family of four during a visit to Bardstown to see The Stephen Foster Story. After many nights in various hotels sharing a queen sofa bed in a suite, our boys were very pleased to have their own twin beds in the second bedroom. We parents were pleased to have... More

A unique (for us) bed and breakfast experience. Rather than staying in a portion of a larger house, we had an entire cottage to ourselves. Breakfast items were placed in the kitchen each afternoon for the following morning. The Millstone Cottage (where we stayed) could also have slept two children in separate twin beds in an adjoining room. Large bath... More

My husband and I stayed at The Colonel's Cottage Inn - Pioneer Park in February. The Inn was the best part of our trip! Tastefully decorated, spotless and truly charming. The beds were comfortable and everything was lovely. We enjoyed our continental breakfast and the freedom of an un-hosted B&B. We are planning to stay at The Colonel's Cottage on... More

Spending the best weekend of my life, my wedding, at the Colonel's cottage was perfect. The night before our vows, my bridesmaids and I stayed at the cottage. We very much enjoyed the backyard for chatting and the kitchen for late night snacks. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom roomy and accommodating. I much enjoyed the soak in... More

Just returned from a 2 week vacation across several states and had to comment on our stay at the Colonel's Cottages. The Millstone cottage became our very own 'Kentucky Home'! The Civil War era house was cozy, clean and very comfortable! The historic decorations and furniture captured our imagination of days gone by! We also did the Colonel's Bourbon tasting... More

My husband and I stayed at the Colonel's Cottage in Bardstown. Since he is very picky about the cleanliness of bed and breakfasts, I was a little hesitant to stay. However when we arrived I was very impressed. Not only was everything immaculate but it was very elegant and peaceful. The bed was very restful. We also dined at Chapeze... More
