My husband and I decided to take my two teen aged nieces for their first camping trip to Nolin state park. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly. The campground is easy to navigate. The campsites are huge and very well maintained. We were tent camping and you set up on gravel pads. There is a picnic table and fire pit at each campsite. We had water and electric. We were on site 14, which is right across from the bath house. The bath house has three toilet stalls and three shower stalls. It was very clean and well maintained. There is also laundry on site and a soda machine. The check in booth is also the camp store. It is very well stocked for how small it was. They sell wood, but on our last day they ran out. We were told about a small store that sells wood down the road. It took about 10 minutes to drive there and the wood was almost the same cost as the campground.
