I was nervous when I booked this room because of the other reviews, but I needed an inexpensive motel. The lobby smelled like mildew when you walk in, it hits you right away. This Masters Inn is very old and its age is apparent. The room was tidy, but I wouldn't say clean. There was something funny on both headboards--mold?... more
I was pleased with the outside appearance of the hotel. When I first checked in the lobby personnal was very friendly. The first room they put me in the lock didn't work and the attendant switched rooms with no questions. The rooms were clean and the location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing. The Masters Inn was an OK stay. We arrived to see that the building looks very old. The two gentlemen that were checking people in were very nice and helpful. When we got to the room we noticed the door handles were just hanging on the doors. The doors were difficult to open and the room's interior was very worn.... more
