I have stayed at this hotel before and intend to stay there everytime I am in the area. This is not the Ritz Carlton, it is a Holiday Inn. For a Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn class hotels, this is one of the best. I have always found the staff to be courteous and friendly, and very helpful. The rooms... more

We stayed here for three days. We enjoyed the experience. We slept well, ate well and swam well. The staff persons were great, at the desk and the restaurant/bar. For the Lexington area, it was significantly less expensive but had everything we needed. It needs some updating, but was well maintained. The room was clean and very functional. Overall, we... more

We arrived on a Saturday night, the main lobby was nice but the room was another story. The mattresses were horrible, felt every spring when you moved. Woke up with a backache. Pillows were more like travel pillows. Constant noise till just after midnight. Outside pool wasn't clean. I mentioned to the gentleman at the desk the next morning about... more

I've stayed here a number of times in the late 90s, and again in 2006. The facility is starting to show it's age. Smells musty in spots. Room service was good in the 90s, unknown in 06. Management seemed to be slightly less amiable in 2006. There was a fire in the laundry room at three in the morning, keeping... more

We had a terrible experience, Their ad about kids stay and eat free is misleading there is a catch. The plumbing is awful. Kim is very rude she does not know how to speak with people. Defenitely needs training in customer service. Genevive is rude and not a friendly person. RED FLAG DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! more

DO NOT STAY HERE! First of all there was this horrible smell in the hotel and on the outside. The hot tub was not working right at all. The water was hot but the jets were not working. It was like sitting in a very hot bath. We called the front desk and asked them to check it out and... more

We stayed here one night on our way back to Indianapolis. We picked it for two reasons: first, it was a Holidome and with a 4 year old the pool is a big deal; and, second because we had a travel coupon from the rest stop for $69. I didn't check the regular rate but the desk clerk told me... more

We stayed here on August 5, 2005 after checking the AAA rating. We were so disappointed and even moreso after complaining to the manager, Kim. The AAA book said that there was a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool. We couldn't even stand to put our feet in the indoor pool and couldn't use the outdoor pool because there... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Lexington South in late July. It is a typical Holiday Inn. The Holidome was a bit of a disappointment (an indoor pool with a couple of video games). There is also a reasonably nice outdoor pool as well. The room was very clean and nicely appointed, but are on the 'small side'. I would... more
