We came down for a week with my son’s youth basketball team for the AAU National Basketball tournament. The hotel is in a good location and absolutely beautiful, and quiet. I picked this hotel because it was the closest to the airport and I had a 6AM flight. The room was spacious - a minisuite with refrig/microwave and a full size desk. My family stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Lexington, VA for vacation, and Hotel was absolutely beautiful, and quiet. I love the mountains, and this is the perfect spot for a gorgeous mountain view. Stayed here on a Wednesday night, early April 2006. Booked a "free" nights using Marriott points. Hotel is about 10 minutes (at 7:30 am) from Airport/Keeneland Race Track. Has a few restaurants near by. Check in and out was smooth. Room had two queen beds with 5 pillows on each. Beds had the "fancy" sheet rather than a comforter. Blanket... more
