Room assigned was not room reserved. Reserved King Non Smoking Suite with request for 1st floor near parking lot with view of rv parking ... was assigned 2 doubles on 2nd floor behind pool area so had them switch us to King on 1st floor and settled with smoking room. Checked rates online, good AARP rate. Upon arrival, we were told NO special rates available for the weekend. Desk clerk was not friendly, just indifferent. more
Immediately upon opening the door I was looking for air freshener. The room had an odor which was a combination of musty and dirty. There were dead flies on the a/c register. during the early part 07 we had already planned to remodle are hotel, things really went far above the ordnary for contruction projects, we aplogized to all of are guest apon arrivle, since then we have upgraded all of are rooms, which includes brand new drywall, fresh paint, and a relaxing in door heated pool.
The hotel was dirty and smelled. Had to go buy air freshener before we could stay. The pool had too much clorine in it and my 5 year niece skin was burned really bad from the pool.
