Don't be misled by the name -- I've seen much smaller rooms for more $$$. Place was very clean, we slept well. Breakfast area was decent but no place to sit except in the lobby. Kind of far from downtown Louisville but not too bad. more

If you are just traveling through Louisville and need a nice, clean, safe and cheap place to crash, than look no further. The beds were fairly comfortable, the front desk clerk could have been a bit more but then again she looked like she was working a double shift. more

My wife and I make a trip to Chicago at least once a year, and Louisville is a good halfway point for us to stop. We have stayed at the Microtel on at least three occasions now and have been generally satisfied with the experience. The outstanding service offered by the staff was an unexpected pleasure. The hotel was clean, the bed confortable and spacious, and the breakfast acceptable. This is one of the best Microtels I have stayed in. Angela at the front desk was very attentive to our needs. I'd stay there again without hesitation. more

The chain's cleanliness and maintenance is unrivaled by better known chains. We have stayed in 3 other Microtels, and found the larger room size and queen bed here a pleasant surprise. Definitely the cheapest rate in Louisville, and, overall, an outstanding value. We had two queen beds -- very comfortable! -- and a good TV, well-lit bathroom, and clean accomodations. The only downside is there was no hair dryer, but you can ask for it at the front desk. All in all, a real deal. We'd definitely stay there again. more

While this was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, for one night and the price it was good. Clean and comfortable. We were in town for Thunder Over Louisville but didn't want to spend a small fortune to stay in the downtown area on the night of the show.
