I've stayed at this hotel in the past, and can remember it being nothing special...that is now changing. They are now renovating, and it's coming along well. The room I stayed in had no funny smells (on a third floor, which is the smoking floor), and new-looking modern furnishings, chair, etc. The only exception was the television; small and outdated.... more

We stayed one night in this hotel as part of a wedding group, and will never stay here again! The staff was extremely nice, but this does not make up for level of filth we experienced. The room smelled of mold and was not clean. The mold smell came from the mold on every wall in the room (see photos).... more

Location - tucked away behind McDonald's off of Hurstbourne (I-64 exit 17). Great location with mutiple chain restaurants and non chain restaurants. Also lots of hotels/motels at this exit to choose from. Close to I-64 exit 15 (next exit) also lots of choices to eat & shop. We ended up here after driving by a couple of different ones. Stayed at the Sleep Inn for one night and it was one of the nicer budget conscious hotels that we've stayed at. HUGE, comfy king bed. Clean and quiet. The shower was a nice sized shower stall and not a tub. Would stay here again as we go back to Louisville quite often! more
