I had stayed at this hotel December of last year and just had an average Marriott experience that I had come to expect. Tthis year as I was traveling through Mt. Sterling again, I had a GREAT stay that far exceeds Marriott standards. Firist, when I checked in the General Manager was checking guests in, yes, the General Manager. Very... more

The Fairfield was a great place for a stay. The checking in and out was quick and efficent and the staff were all very helful and friendly. We rented a king jacuzzi room. It was very clean and very nice! It came with a micr. and fridge1 The grounds are well kept and very lovely! The indoor pool was warm... more

If you are only planning on staying in your room this hotel could be a could choice. There was either mold or dead bugs on the wall toward the ceiling in our bathroom, room 109. The pool is very small and probably not a good reason to stay there. There is a large sign by the pool that only five... more

The first problem came upon check in. I had requested a refrigerator to keep medicine in. The front desk staff had no record of my request . Their attitude was that it would be a big imposition to "track down a maintenance man and find a refrigerator". I improvised with a bag of ice in my cooler. Then we found... more

The Fairfield Inn Mt. Sterling is a great place to stay! One of the local waitresses mentioned that it was the best hotel in the city. Rooms were nice, clean and basic. The TV didn't work in the first room we were in (their TV system had gotten struck by lightning). We were immediatlely moved to an upgraded room where... more

I am shocked by the positive reviews of this place. This was absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Let's see, where do I start? This is the first Priceline stay I have had to "eat." We got this dump for $30 (well, total was just over $40). It is interior corridor and looks okay on the outside;... more

The Fairfield Inn in Mt. Sterling is a typical Marriott Fairfield Inn. The swimming pool and hot tub are very nice and average size. The exercise room is 2 treadmills and an exercise bike, a television, and a water fountain. Unfortunately, the exercise room is extremely hot before working out, so with a good workout, the room becomes unbearable. The... more

I paid for my one night stay at the Fairfield Inn in Mt. Sterling, KY using Travelocity, and was charged a second time by the hotel. This is the second time a Fairfield Inn has charged me double. I will not be staying at Fairfield again. more

We were attending a family reunion in nearby rural Kentucky and decided to stay overnight at this property in Mount Sterling, 30 miles east of Lexington on Interstate 64. Fairfield Inns are Marriott's low-end hotels, but this one, as most, was very clean, well-kept, and run by very friendly owners and staff. The rooms are bare bones, but just fine,... more
