Would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying for more than one day or with children. Service is poor, employees dont comunicate so one says one thing and the other says another. The breakfast bar had very little on it. Coffee was terrible. Showers are really short and the heat did not work. If you are going to stay one... more

Went to Cincy for a college football game at Paul Brown Stadium. Hotel has a great location just across the river in Newport. You can take a walk across the bridge to Paul Brown Stadium or Great American Ball Park or take the shuttle less than a block away. Hotel itself was ok, has been refurbished. Room was satisfactory and... more

The entire place, including the Lobby, hallways, rooms and elevator smelled of stale damp ashtray. From the look and smell of the place I expected to find bugs, but to my surprise I didn't. The fridge, broken. Hair dryer, broken. Coffee pot, broken and leaked all over the desk (explains the coffee stains on it). Front desk smiled and laughed... more

We checked in at around 8pm and shortly after getting all our stuff in the room for a 4 night stay my wife opened the drawer under the TV and quickly killed a bug. It looked like it had wings but the legs looked like all those commercials that showed cockroaches. I had to google cockroach to see what they... more

When we arrived, our rooms were not ready at check in time. They gave us 2 different rooms instead, telling us they were better rooms because they had a balcony. When we walked into the room, we found that the toilet had obviously over flowed, the floor was soaked. My son went to the desk and told them. They said... more

I was a bit concerned about staying here from previous reviews. However we, like many, just needed a place to spend the night for a Reds game. Looks like this property has been recently remodeled. Our rooms on the second floor (non-smoking) and had new carpeting, beds, etc. Bonus amenities for the price included a fridge, microwave, in room safe,... more

Great location to ballpark and Newport Aquarium/River Walk.Shuttle to and from Cinci very convenient. However, the hotel BADLY needs new bedding (sheets, blankets, bedspreads). Burn holes, etc. Also needs new bathroom linens. Motel staff very friendly and courteous. more

To put it briefly, we reserved a smoking room with a king sized bed. We received a non-smoking room with a full sized bed. We had no remote control for the TV. The room was hot and the thermostat did not work. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it, only a regular sheet laid on top of... more

Husband and I Stayed at Newport Travelodge for an overnight get-away with friends to see a baseball game at the Great American Ball Park. Great-Great location, was able to walk right out of the parking lot to the bridge leading to the ball park. Easy walk to the fun little town of Newport with plenty to do. The pool was... more

It's not Le Parker Meriden, but it is a 2-minute walk to Newport on the Levy and Hoffbrauhaus. The bathrooms were clean although I agree with some of the other reviews about a funny smell in the hallways. I stayed there for a bachelor party, so our main requirements were a roof and low prices so we could spend more... more
