The Plus Side:
The Springfield Inn is a pleasant place for a stay. The rooms are not lavish, but are spotlessly clean and well appointed. A basic breakfast is served (cereal and bagels, fruit and juice) in a friendly fashion.
I had a small problem with my room, which was immediately remedied with no inconvenience to me. The front desk staff is attentive, and overall I can say that I have spent much more in some hotels for much less in service and amenities.
The Springfield Inn is convenient to Gethsemane Abby, Lincoln sites, the Bourbon Trail, and gorgeous countryside.
The not-so-plus side:
The beds are a bit on the hard side.
