Hubby and I spent a night here with our two young sons. It was not hard to find. The reception person was OKAY. The room was clean with 2 very comfortable beds. The bathroom was quite clean also. The complimentary breakfast a sufficient for a quick bite before hitting the road. Overall, good place for night stay for a stopover. more

The first room we were given had unmade beds and had not been cleaned. After a few minutes, we got another room. The hide-a-bed for my son was not made. The front desk gave me a sheet, but said they had no pillows or blankets. Back to the car! The hide-a-bed mattress looked like someone had slaughtered a pig on... more

Not a bad hotel by any means, clean with very efficient staff - nice room, comfy bed, great free breakfast. Baton Rouge is horrible, the people are very rude (unless they are from outside of Baton Rouge) - the staff in stores look at you like your from another planet if you do not have a Louisiana accent or attempt... more

I spent 3 weeks at this hotel. The location is convenient, but it is pricey because of its proximity to the hospital. The manager originally gave me a disounted rate because I was staying several weeks. I had also booked a room with a refrigerator, which I had only the first week. The third week, I was charged the rack... more

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in the area. The elevator is very noisy . . . but serviceable nonetheless. Our room was a good size (though the vanity area in the bathroom is smallish). The beds were very comfortable; the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel was in a quiet location and we... more

Stayed for two nights and was expecting more from previous reviews. Pro: Nice, comfortable bed Very courteous staff Cons: When you first enter you are overpowered by the chlorine smell from the indoor pool. Hallways were musty and the elevator even worse. Room was somewhat musty. AC made a high pitched whine when in use. more

We have been to Baton Rouge many times to visit family, and have never had a wonderful experience in accommodations. But now we will continue to come back every year. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff was extremely accommodating. (Alean and Michelle stood out so much that I asked for their names for this review.) more

Staff very friendly and extremely efficient. I forgot and left some earrings in the room. They were mailed back to me the same day we checked out. Good buffet, clean and well maintained property. more

I just finished a five-day business stay at the Fairfield. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is extra friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of variety. There is free wireless access throughout the hotel. Location is very close to I-10 and I-12, and there is ample shopping/restaurants in close proximity. more

My husband and I booked here last minute after finding that we needed to stay in Baton Rouge for the evening. I'm neutral on this hotel as it did what I expected it to do. I'd stay here again if I needed a basic, functional place to stay. No frills, but it's clean, safe, and affordable. It was clean, in... more
