Stayed here for one night, just needed a clean, safe place to crash after a game. Standard, SpringHill design in a newish and well-maintained property. Room: large and comfortable, nice beds, two TVs plus a separate couch/desk, mini-fridge/microwave area. Everything was clean and in order, well stocked. Free WiFi worked perfectly. Hotel/Service: never had any issues or special requests, yet... more

Newish hotel, post-Katrina, well maintained. Thin walls and especially thin ceilings--we could hear every foot step from the people above us...and it sounded like each person weighed 300 lbs. Plus, our room (223) was over the pool area and the pool is open until 11 pm, so we got to hear all the pool noise. Oh, and room 223 is... more

It was clean, the service was fantastic, the room was huge and the location off the interstate was very convenient. Only probs - elevator broke one night, and in the morning lots of noise in the hallways. more

One thing it seems you can depend on these days: Marriott's lower tier Fairfield Inns and Springhill Suites are pretty consistant no matter where you go. This Springhill is no exception. Its clean (but not sparkling), rooms are decorated adequately (but not lavishly), beds are comfortable (but not plush), and so on. What makes this hotel work is the good... more

We snagged this hotel using Priceline ($65 a night). The room was clean with many amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee, etc.). The microwave even had plastic wrap and plastic utensils in it for people re-heating a meal. The free breakfast had a large variety (eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit cups, cereal, and much, much more). The hotel contains... more

Stayed at the Springhill Suites for work in January 2007. This place was just what I expect from a Marriott property. Clean, good breakfast and a very nice room. It's located right off the interstate and near many good places for dinner. The exercise room is a little small. This place was nice but the Fairfield (which I've stayed) that... more

I have never seen such friendly and efficient front desk service. The hotel itself is fairly new, very clean and has an indoor pool. The breakfast was very nice, they have the do-it-yourself waffles! However, the bed was hard and when the hotel wakes up - everybody wakes up, because normal hallway noise really travels into the room. more
