This hotel is acutally about a mile north of the point shown on the Trip Advisor map. Check out the satellite image. Just a dirt lot at the point shown. More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel while we moved her into LSU. Room was large with sitting area, small kitchenette, free wireless, and clean bathroom. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs even allowing me to ship a package to my daughter at the hotel address after we left the hotel and before she got a... More

As an education advocate, I often travel to Baton Rouge for the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education meetings. My job booked me rooms at this hotel (or should I say glorified MOTEL) on two occasions. To begin with, the location is in an isolated area of town, with low income apartments only yards away on N. Lobdell Street...... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Large room, clean, and a great price! The staff was very friendly and the hotel has a really homey like feel to it. Microwave and refrigerator are nice perks as well as the complimentary breakfast. Relaxing environment! More

This hotel is an older building. If it were built today, I don't think the rooms would be as large. The employees were friendly. The breakfast was good and as I mentioned the rooms were large (and we had a standard room). The mattress seemed a little old and was not the best. If we had brought our children, I... More

This hotel was lovely! Big comfortable room, Beautiful courtyard/breakfast area. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was not the hotels fault - Mapquests directions to this hotel were completely wrong - we ended up following a friendly local woman who knew the area. More

Excellent ambiance, great breakfast and the drinks at the lounge very affordable. Overall a great experience, feel like home except for the chores part stayed for a total of nine days. I would recommend to anyone visiting Baton Rouge, either for business or pleasure. More

Our room was large, and our reservation was honored. That's the end of the good news. The bad news; frayed, dirty carpets in both the public and the guest rooms. An air conditioner that sounded like a 747 coming in for a landing. Overall lack of real cleanliness - and a really icky smell that pervaded the room, which someone... More

we were looking for a good, reasonably-priced alternative while driving through louisiana. this was a nice find for us - friendly staff, good-sized, clean rooms, and a very ample breakfast buffet. not the greatest location if you want to be closer to nightlife, but definitely safe, quiet, and only a few miles off the interstate.
