Three of my girlfriends and I loaded up and went to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, we ended up at the Microtel quite by accident - it was the only hotel with rooms available by the time we decided that we wanted to go, however once we got there we were thrilled with the accommodations and the service provided by the staff.

The staff at the Microtel was friendly and accommodating, they offered friendly advice and cheerfulness at all hours of the day and night. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and more than comfortable for four of us to share. (Our only complaint was the lights over the bed seemed a bit harsh, but that was the only complaint of our whole stay if that tells you anything.)

The lobby features a computer with Internet access for guests, so being internet addicted we each took a turn on it and found it a nice little bonus to check email and poke around. We were also thrilled in the morning to find a nice little breakfast served, complete with the... more
