This motel hasn't been open too long (Feb. 2009 I think) so it's still in pretty good shape.

First the pros: decent size room with comfortable bed (king is what I had), large bathroom with high shower head (I'm 6 ft. 5 in., so the shower heads at some hotels can be troublesome. Not here, plenty of room to work with. Nice high definition flat screen television (finding high def. channels is another story, but the selection of overall channels is nice). Well-lit parking lot and very friendly, efficient staff.

Next the neutral: Hotel isn't close to town so if you don't like being too far out, this could be a problem (closest dining places I found -- other than gas station cafe -- were over 3 miles away). And the hotel is pretty secluded. The nice thing about that is getting to it, though it's not close to the city, is fairly easy as there isn't a lot of traffic on that road.

The cons: If you have a second floor room and are a non-smoker, be warned the hallway... more
