Poor quality bathroom and cheap furniture. Toilet seat kept slipping and sliding with slightest movement. Toilet paper was thin and rough. Bathtub had a narrow trough basin. Actually, I've been to this hotel on the average every 6 weeks since Katrina while renovating my mother's house nearby. The hotel is around 20 minutes away from the French Quarter. However, I got a rate of $69 and didn't have to pay for parking (usually around $20 -$25/night in the French Quarter), enough savings to make the few minutes driving worthwhile.
