Having spent a good portion of the past year dealing with a serious illness within our family, my wife and I wanted to have a brief get-away from our home in Mandeville, LA. Past generations of my family had lived in New Iberia and I had long wanted to visit the area, tour the local scenery, have some great food,... More

Being directionally challenged, finding Le Rosier was a struggle for me, and I passed it twice. Once getting parked and coming around to the front porch, I was in awe of this beautiful home. The conceirge was working in the front yard and the dog was frollicking in there as well. I was invited into the house and was just... More

We had stayed two nights at another place and wanted to stay another night but they were full. They recommended a few places so we made some calls. Luckily we reached the housekeeper who said they had a room available. Since we did not know when we would arrive so she left us instructions to get in. As the others... More

I booked a room here for the night that I proposed to my fiance. I am familiar enough with New Iberia to know that Le Rosier was a perfect location for us. We arrived a bit early, but Carolyn welcomed us with wine and cheese while the finishing touches were being put on our room. Once our room was ready,... More

We scheduled our annual Holiday Party destination this year for New Iberia to stay at Le Rosier and have supper at Clementines. We are a group of 10, and we were looking forward to visiting with each other at the B&B before and after supper. Upon check in we were VERY DISAPPOINTED to learn that we didn't have use of... More

We are disappointed to see a negative review of our property. You are correct that we are not a traditional B&B , rather we call ourselves a country inn and tell guests up front that they will be enjoying complimentary breakfast at our famous Victor's Restaurant located only a few blocks away in the morning instead of at the property.... We expected to be met with a welcome, wine and cheese, and information about the area attractions based on my conversation when I made my reservation. We were met in a manner that indicated that the manager was in a hurry to go home-no refreshments provided or offered, no information, just "here's your room" Not unpleasant, but just not any... We are very sorry that your experience at LeRosier was less than you expected. There is no excuse for not offering you a glass of wine with a cheese tray upon arrival. assuming arrival was at normal hours. We are upfront in booking that the guest is aware that our guest rooms are privately located in a building separate from... More

I really enjoyed my stay here, and would like to point out that there is a choice of breakfasts, you can have one made up for you to have in your room which I did one morning. The alternative, Victor's in Main Street, may be a typical local diner, but it features, like New Iberia itself, in the works of... More

The owners of Le Rosier, Carolyn and David, were incredibly nice and accommodating. Their innkeeper, Candy, brought us fresh baked brownie muffins and David brought us an excellent cheese basket with fruit and crackers when we arrived. They couldn't do enough to help us or make us happy. They welcomed our dog Tessa with open arms and no dog fee.... More

Arrived to find they had lost our reservation, lucky to find a cleaning lady to let us in as the owners were away. Friendly and welcoming with a glass of wine, room reasonable but small. There is no Breakfast on site. We were given a voucher for a local cafeteria style establishment which served large, heavy premade food , no... More

We found Le Rosier easliy and were welcomed warmly by the hostess who got our signature for payment, gave us a plate of cheeze and crackers and took us back to our rooms in what I suppose was a carriage house that housed 4 bedrooms. The room was appointed beautifully, and just as the inkeeper had bragged on the phone... More
