Arrived to find they had lost our reservation, lucky to find a cleaning lady to let us in as the owners were away. Friendly and welcoming with a glass of wine, room reasonable but small. There is no Breakfast on site. We were given a voucher for a local cafeteria style establishment which served large, heavy premade food , no... more

We found Le Rosier easliy and were welcomed warmly by the hostess who got our signature for payment, gave us a plate of cheeze and crackers and took us back to our rooms in what I suppose was a carriage house that housed 4 bedrooms. The room was appointed beautifully, and just as the inkeeper had bragged on the phone... more

My husband and I stayed at LeRosier about 3 years ago quite a few times, but we had kids and life got hectic, so we hadn't been in a while, we decided to go this weekend for our Anniversary! As usual, we loved it! At the times when we stayed, the main house was opened to the public; however, it... more

Getting ready to book another stay at Le Rosier for February to visit Avery Island for the camellias. We loved our stay at Le Rosier last year. The rooms are decorated to reflect the historical period of the main building that houses the restaurant and sitting rooms, and the owners. The owners were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The morning breakfasts... more

My wife and I really loved this place. Great location (easy walk to the main street restaurants/pubs), first class breakfast and really nice room. If you're a B&B person this is the place to stay. Plus it was nice to get a local "slant" on things from the owners. This is the place to stay in New Iberia. more

I did not care for our stay at Le Rosier. The entrance to the Inn was tricky to find. Once we found the entrance, the person who helped us was sitting at a very cluttered outside patio table. She took us inside to check in. Check-in took what I thought was an extended time. The check-in counter also served as... more

My wife and I appologize for any inconvienence due to the inattentativeness of the innkeepers at the time of your visit. We terminated their involvement and closed the property for 6 months while we completely renovated the main house into our permanent residence. We will reopen the guest rooms as an inn only, assuring clean, well appointed rooms with breakfast...

Le Rosier is a bed and breakfast hotel located on Main Street at one end of historic downtown New Iberia and across from Shadows-on-the-Teche, an historic house museum. At the front is a bungalow surrounded by flower gardens. Inside is the restaurant, which is cozy and spread out among several rooms, and includes a small bar and outdoor patio. Dinner... more

Avoid this grossly overpriced place there are six very small rooms with very small bathrooms in a building behind the old house. Like an old two story motel. Noisiest air conditioner I can remember for a long time. Room had nice linens and wallpaper. Tiny but pretty garden in between house and motel rooms. The room we stayed in had... more

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast, located on "the" Main Street of New Iberia - perfect location, perfect breakfast (if you get to make a request - i highly recommend the waffles!), rooms were quaint, comfortable and clean - dinner was devine. Highly recommend the steak. The hostess were very friendly and eager to please. more

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at Le Rosier. Room 5 was nicely decorated, the bathroom spotless (so important!), and the bedding luxurious. I was disappointed, however, to find upon my arrival that the guest rooms are not in the main house, but instead in a newer addition behind the house. I was looking forward to enjoying the... more
