I booked a room for the days November 7-9, 2008. When I arrived at the hotel with my Expedia confirmation in hand, I was told there was no reservation for me and the hotel was full. Opelousas isn't a fancy town at all, but you're visiting there I'm sure you know this already. Same goes with this hotel. Room was clean, iron, hair dryer, toiletrees, and towels. Housekeeping very friendly. Good place to rest your head for a night if you're passing through. more
This hotel is easy to see from the freeway, and it appears to be undergoing a significant and much-needed renovation. The interior of the room was alright, and it was nice to have a refridgerator. However, our door was broken and it ususally took is 5 minutes to get into our room each day. The management never corrected the problem.... more
My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in March 2004. Hot water heater went out on the 2nd day and it never did get fixed. They were supposed to reduce the rate on the room but it was never done so I refused to pay the the whole rate and wrote to the mastercard People and they deducted... more
