My husband, mom and I stayed at Greenwood Plantation. It was the most pleasurable and peaceful time we have ever spent. If you are wanting to be pampered and fussed over this is not the place. If you are wanting solitude and beautiful vistas, with complete silence under the moonlight, then Greenwood is for you. Greenwood has almost all of the elements of what I expect most people have in mind when they think of a "Plantation home." The painstakingly reconstructed main house is simply magnificent and the grounds are a delight to walk, with dozens of oaks dripping with spanish moss. Greenwood Plantation B&B is extremely isolated and very creepy. The plantation is beautiful, and I strongly advise seeing it, but I can not recommend staying the night there.
