My daughter found a story about The Myrtles when she was in second grade. She wrote a letter to Chloe and popped it in the mail. She is now in sixth grade and has been writing to her "pen pal" ever since. It was finally time for us to plan a visit. So we set out on our adventure with... more

Grounds beautiful, rooms filthy. Rooms are way too high for the quality of the experience. Ghost tour a scam ... not worth $20 each for a 20 minute tour. I think this place is living off the hype that is "the most haunted house in America." Personally, I would not recommend staying there. more

Friends and family came together to plan a fun and exciting night at the Myrtles Plantation. We booked the house arrived around noon. Check in was not until 2 p.m. so we took the tour and hung out in the beautiful courtyard. It is an old house but that only heightened the sense of adventure. The Judge Clark Woodruff Suite... more

My Nights stay that the Myrtles Plantation was awesome. I've been interested in staying there since i was a young girl and I first saw the plantation on the unsolved mysteries show...I always wondered if it was as interesting...and haunted as people say it is...well I was not disappointed, can't wait to get back there... more

What a great place to visit and stay; the hospitality was like none other. The staff at the Myrtles made this stay the highlight of our vacation. They treated us like family and we will be back. The mystery tour on Friday and Saturday nights is a must! It was everything I thought it would be. more

After seeing this place on Nat Geo, we drove up one day. I made reservations for one of the night tours earlier in the week @ $10 a piece. Since they were almost booked, I thought that this must be a real popular thing to do. We arrived during the day and paid another $8 a person to see the... more

My sister and I just got back from the Myrtles. It was our 4th trip in 4 years. We checked in and went to our room to nap (it is a 9 hour drive). We got up and prepared to enjoy the night. We went to the back porch and left the door ajar as the lock stuck and we... more

We stayed at the Myrtles last weekend on a Saturday night. My husband and I stayed in the Fannie Williams room and our son and his friend stayed in the Oleander room. We ate at the Carriage House for dinner and the food was reasonably good and fairly priced. While dining, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder while... more

We had a 10 minute tour which cost us hours of our time in driving and $8 a piece. I learned more about this place on the Discovery channel. Shortly after we went to Oak Alley and felt we got our monie worth. more

I've been to the Myrtles several times for the tours but never stayed overnight. I've always wanted to but could never get anyone to go with me until recently. The house is beautiful and the staff was great. I would recommend that you take the Mystery tour of the house. It tells mostly of the ghosts and some of the... more
