My friends and I stayed here for the first time in August, 2011. We live in Moncton, NB and were flying from Bangor to Denver to pick up a tour. (It's amazing what a bargain it is for Canadians to fly from Bangor...we paid $294 including tax for our return flight which from Canada would have been almost $1000...but that... More

This hotel was clean and had exactly what you need for a good nights stay. Comfortable and quiet, absolutely no complaints. To the contrary what stood out was that the staff were warm and friendly, and were so very helpful to us with suggestions and directions. This made our stay especially great! Thanks! More

There to celebrate Christmas with my NH family. It was great. Clean, great staff and very pleased with the breakfast. Sure could not find any problems. Liked the price and its a great location. Certainly stay there again. More

I was in Bangor for a meeting Check in around 7 pm and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly Room was a typical hotel room with 2 double beds . It was clean and had a good shower. Both traits that are important to me. There was an exercise room which I did not use. The breakfast... More

We often travel to Bangor and this hotel is our first choice of places to stay. It is clean and comfortable and close to shopping centers and restaurants. It is not fancy, and it lacks the refrigerators and microwaves that many hotels have, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff at the front desk has... More

On arrival, the desk clerk was snippy and rude. This is not usual in Choice Hotel properties but I guess this is the exception that proves the rule. The hotel is old and perhaps a couple of years away from renovation but it is handy to Bangor's shopping area. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. More

Came to Maine to shop at the Freeport Outlets, and just to get away, and chose the Comfort Inn Bangor as our home base. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful, offering coupons as well as a nice list of places to eat and shop in the area. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was clean. The... More

Enjoyed our stay here. The room was a bit small for our family of five, but most hotel rooms are. Room was clean. The location is good, right across from an Olive Garden. The complimentary breakfast is standard fare. More

This is an excellent hotel, we have used it many times as our "shopping base" in Bangor, Maine and area. We are 3 hours from Bangor so we like to go over twice a year for some shopping, our Canadian dollar was worth more and Maine has a lower sales tax. The hotel is convenient to the I95 as well...
