In need of a quick and inexpensive weekend getaway, I called and booked a king oceanfront room at the Harbor Inn. The gentleman who took my reservation was very accommodating -- we needed a pet-friendly room for our two dogs, and because I'm temporarily on crutches, I wanted an accessible room. Perhaps because it's the off-season, we got a terrific... more

Really like this little gem. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great bay view (forget the roadside view). Sufficient breakfast, the patio to eat it on made it even better. Terrific food next door at Foxy's(name?). We will return again and we've already recommended this place to 2 other famillies and they called to thank us. more

This place was just okay. The room was clean, but really not attractive and did not even have a coffee machine. The highway is right next to this building and if you are a light sleeper, forget it. LOTS of traffic noise with trucks. Room was very cold as well. Cranked the heater at night but got nothing. It wasn't... more

Belfast isn't much to speak of itself, however the Belfast Harbor Inn is something worth reviewing. If you're taking a break here on the way up to Acadia, you've picked a good one. The rooms are comfortable and the whole place feels new. The only gripe I had was the rollaway; the sheets and blankets were dirty - easily replaced... more

good, functional motel, clean rooms, decent service. Nice steakhouse next door. Best feature for me was the short walk to the shoreliine at sunset. Made the stay. more

We stayed at the Belfast Harbor Inn for 6 days. The rooms are very clean, and a good size with a comfortable bed. We also had a fridge and microwave which worked very well for us. The setting is wonderful, with a view over the bay. Pay the extra for a sea view as the other side looks over the... more

I stayed at the Belfast Harbor Inn in late March (off season and without making prior reservations) while driving through Maine. It was one of the few hotels along Highway 1 which stayed open (and had someone at the reception counter 24 hours a day) at that time of the year. The rooms were clean, and heated by water (which... more

For a number of years we have been staying at a neighboring motel when in Belfast, but this year that motel's rates almost doubled, and considering that this was in the "off" season, I was not prepared to pay the increase. As all the reviews for the Belfast Harbor Inn appeared to be favorable, we decided to give it a... more

This inn was our stopping point for my husband's 170 mile bike ride from Yarmouth to Bar Harbor. I booked the cheapest room they had, on the first floor facing route one. The noise of the road could probably be bothersome to some people, but our apartment is right off of 295, so we didn't have any issues. I loved... more

My husband and I stayed at the Belfast Harbor Inn for three nights while we were visiting family in the area. We had a very pleasant stay; the room was big enough, and had a nice little balcony overlooking the water. Everything was clean and in good condition, except the box spring which was a bit spotty. Desk staff was... more
