WE stayed there over Independence Day WE. The hotel is very quiet, well appointed and has a fantastic view on the bay. As mentioned on previous reviews, parking can be a bit tight. Also the management should consider expanding the hours for inclusive breakfast later than 8-9. We did not really mind this time as we had plenty to visit,... more

I had read about this inn being a bargain in one of the leading tour guides. It really is a bargain. Belfast is beautiful and the inn is located with a view of the bay. The innkeeper was wonderful, the room was cleaned to perfection. I was amazed at how quiet it was. My only negative concerning the hotel was... more

For those planning a visit to Acadia National Park, this inn provides great value for your money. Don't expect luxuries, trendy features or frills. If you are looking for an impeccably clean, pleasant, nicely located inn, with a view of the bay, a great breakfast included in the price and a reasonably priced dinner available on the premises, then you... more

This B&B was quite well-appointed. The grounds were clean, well-maintained and certainly exceeded my expectations. The rate was reasonable, the folks were friendly and engaging and the two choices for breakfast were good (one day the choice was between Blueberry Pancakes and Eggs Any Style, Bacon & Toast). There were only some very small comments, NONE of which should cause... more

Very clean and cozy accomodations. Only drawback - should provide toiletries automatically. Breakfast was good. Good prices and good place to stay with a family. more

This is a nice, cozy inn a short drive out of Belfast. Prices (we stayed durng the popular Common Ground Fair In September) are reasonable and include breakfast. Full dinners are offered in the attractive porch area and in the foyer. Rooms are attractive and some, including ours, had a view of the grassy lawn and a distant view of... more

My wife and I are pretty fussy, though we have somewhat different priorities for being fully satisfied with a B & B. Penobscot Bay Inn met or exceeded all the expectations of both of us in every way. The room was comfortable, quiet and gracious. There was a coffee machine, critical for me since I'm always up with the sunrise.... more

My wife Gill and myself have just returned from our very first trip to the United States. And we could bore you to death telling everyone what a wonderful time we had. In fact we do! However, we would be very churlish indeed if we don't give a mention to the Penobscot Bay Inn. We're so glad that Wanderbird Expedition... more

This is just a beautiful Inn. The innkeeper is so nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and pretty. I would definitely stay here again. Their prices are very fair. But the best thing.... they make the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life ! more
