Had discount coupon from travel magazine. Arrived at hotel early (1:30 pm) on Monday and was told coupon was not accepted because they were "sold out" but entire hotel was empty. This hotel is not worth anywhere near $200 a night. It does have an incredible view so that is clearly what you are paying for. Our room was dark and the bathroom was outdated. Which was interesting because I read somewhere that it was refurbished in 2007. The shower was horrible and there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom.... more

This is a nice little hotel away from the hubbub of downtown Boothbay Harbor. Great views of the bay from private balcony, can go right down to the water from the property, nice breakfast buffet included, nice pool, short trip to Boothbay Harbor for shopping and dining. more

We stayed in Boothbay on our way up the coast. It was a great waterfront experience. I had never been to boothbay and we loved it. My wife and I had an excellent vacation at Smuggler's Cove Inn last week. The full breakfast was outstanding and the view from our room's balcony was amazing.
