Recently traveled with husband, dog, best friend, her niece and their 3 dogs. Loved the cottages and hospitality! Cedar cottages were quaint, clean and well-equipped. Dog friendly atmosphere and plenty of area to walk dogs. Especially loved the wine and cheese shop...how can you beat that??? Cute cottages, just a mile from gorgeous Booth Bay Harbor..and a wine and cheese... more

We loved staying here! Spending time with the Mitchells and their families at this resort only magnified the amount of fun that we experienced in Maine. It was a great cottage, and we loved the hot tub after the locally suggested day trips. My husband and I especially enjoyed our 'breakfast with Bruce' every morning. He came up with great... more

The Boothbay Resort was just what we needed for a relaxing, funfilled family vacation in Maine. The resort was so beautiful and well taken care of! You could tell that Lori and Win Mitchell really put time, effort and care as well as love into their resort and home. We found the cottage that we stayed in to be very... more

We went out for a wedding and we arrived to have to wait 45 minutes because there was no one to check us in. The cottage was cute and had enough room, but paint was peeling everywhere and the furniture seem to come from a collage dorm. Supposedly it has wifi, but I never picked up a signal and when... more

A comfortable getaway for my wife & I and our little dog. We stayed in an cute cottage near the jacuzzi. The weather was gloomy, but the hot tub was hot and soothing! Loved the beautifully manicured grounds and poolside breakfast area. Great waffles and fun place to chat with other guests. We discovered lodging choices for many size groups,... more

This is our 2nd time here - 2 adults and 1 dog, for 4 nights, and we love everything about this resort. We stayed in one of the Balsam Suites with a king size bed and jacuzzi. Nice, clean, new, not too big, not too small. There's a lot to do here, and/or it's a nice place to just "chill... more

Just got back from a 3-night stay at the Boothbay Resort and am already thinking about when we can get back there. We (two adults and two big dogs) stayed in the Balsams Suite and from what we understand, were the first guests in the suite this season. Owners Win and Lori Mitchell and their extended families were already in... more

This place is nice enough. The good: very clean, awesome pool, nice jacuzzi, cute little cottages. Also, it is very clear that the owners truly care about their business and are working very hard. The not so good: smaller cottages don't really have "kitchenettes", they have microwave + tiny fridge; breakfast isn't really a continental breakfast, but is waffles, coffee... more
