We stayed here mostly because we wanted to stay in Bangor as we’re just passing through Maine sightseeing on our way to Vermont. There was a concert in town and this was one of the only places that had a room at a normal price. VERY clean and tidy! An older couple owns it, and just as others said you have to get ice and coffee from the office. There is an incredible restaurant right across the road - The Eagles Nest.....so good!

Due to local events, all hotels in the Bangor area were booked solid. We found availability at this hotel late in the night. The room was clean and quiet. Don't expect the office to be open early morning.

We spent one night at the Air-Line on our way back home from Canada. While the Air-Line is cozy, I’m not sure we would stay here again. The room itself was fairly small and the bathroom very small. (I do like the idea of Mom & Pop establishments, so I might stay here if traveling alone.). With the luggage and two people, it was a little cramped.

I've stayed at the Air-Line Motor Inn twice and I will come back again and again. The rooms are reasonably priced, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would have given this 5 stars, but the room did not have a hair dryer and there was no ice or coffee available at the hotel, But having the Eagles Nest restaurant across the street was a real plus!

Traveling in US for two weeks, on way home could not find anything available in Bangor so we kept driving, came to Airline Motel. Nice old fashioned motel, nothing fancy but comfortable, and we all had a great sleep. Wifi was spotty at best and slow if you're needing to use it. Would stay again.

I would have given this a five star, but the water kept going either really hot (almost scalding) to really cold in the shower. If not for that little thing......all was immaculately clean, bed was comfortable, room had everything it needed, and was in good repair.

Nice immaculately clean rooms with high-end linens. The beds had real quilts with real fleece blankets and the rooms had soft muted hues of color to make it feel quaint and comfy. New smart tv's and a mini fridge with a freezer. Perfect for what I needed at a fair price.

Located on Rte 9 in Brewer, just a short hop to Bangor and easy access to 95/395. Ideal location for those going/coming overland to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI. Nice rooms with microwave, decent sized fridge, flat screen TV with cable, and wonderful tiled bathroom. Spotlessly clean, quiet...and the owners are friendly and helpful with info about the area.

Great place for a one nighter. It was very quiet and clean which is high on my list. No coffeemaker in room, a big disappointment for me but I did have a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. Price I thought was a bit high. Stayed one night to pick up my grandson at Boy scout camp which made it a convenient location. Would I stay here again? No only because the price of the room was too high for what you got.

The first night I was supposed to stay in a single room, which was TINY but adequate. However, the owner shifted me into a bigger room which was much nicer. It had two queen beds. My family joined me the next night, and we remained in that room. It was a perfectly adequate room. This is a "mom and pop" place so it isn't all that fancy, but that didn't really matter to us. It was quiet.....no slamming doors early in the morning. But part of that was because there were only a couple other rooms being used; not sure if it would still be true with more rooms filled. It is kind of out in the country, so there is a nice walk to be had down a side road. Also, there is a good restaurant right across the street. Our kids could play in the backyard, and in the parking lot, because it was safe (few cars, and back away from the main road). That was nice. There is no phone in the room, but that didn't matter to us. There was a fridge and microwave, which really did matter. My main "con" is that the price was a bit steep: around $110 a night, with no breakfast or even coffee available. I would expect to pay that much in Boston or maybe even Portland, but not Brewer.
