This hotel was such a nice surprise. The rooms appeared newly renovated. The entire room and bathroom were spotless. If you come during a warm month you may want to request a room on the first floor with an outside deck. They also have laundry facilites. The gym room was small but adequate. The pool was perfect for children, nice... more

This is a great choice spot for a stay that is an independently-owned place with a unique feel. It's somewhere between motel and inn - looks like a motel on the outside, but the friendliness and common spaces are both a little beyond what you might expect from a motel. There are all sorts of snacks offered - self-serve popcorn... more

I was looking for a simple, economical place to stay with a group on a business trip. I was surprised by the friendliness of the staff, and the welcoming atmosphere at the Parkwood Inn. We were greeted with homemade (appearing) cookies and later got "heavy appetizers"--including tasty beer-battered shrimp (all complementary). Very unexpected but great after a long drive. The... more

Did not have reservations and took a risk with a list of hotels in 100 mile radius. Usually stay a reliable hotel chains with a proven record of predictable bedding, breakfast, etc. So glad took a risk and chose the Parkwood Inn. It's located a few miles off I-95 in a small town of Brunswick near scenic Rt. 1. It's... more

If you are looking for a first rate inn in the Brunswick area, this is the place for you. The service is very professional and attentive. The rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. The free breakfast, while not elegant is still more than acceptable. I would recommend without reservation more

Clean and comfortable. The Parkwood provides a great breakfast with many different selections each day. We were treated to waffles, bowls of fresh fruit, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bagels, cereals, quiche, juices, yogurts etc. The hotel also provided snacks each day in their lounge area. There is a nice indoor pool and a fitness room. The rooms have large flat... more

This is actually the second time we've stayed at this hotel. The first time was more than 10 years ago when we traveled to ME on business. This time we went to ME for vacation and chose the hotel as one of our bases while in ME, based on our previous stay at the hotel. The hotel is still well-maintained,... more
