you're not at the Plaza; there are no ocean views; the structure dates back some 30 years, except for the roof (an all important item). but we had a mini-fridge; the wi-fi worked, as did everything in the bathroom as well as the blankets (albeit polyester) the owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful when we needed to retrieve... more

Checkin was very quick and the rooms were spacious, clean and fully made. Staff were able to give helpful suggestions on places to eat - the motel also had menus for selected restaurents. The Motel has ideal location - close to route 1. Good choice of continental breakfast - as much as you want. Would recommend this motel to anyone... more

We were here for a soccer tourenment at Bowdion College. All the other hotels were booked and full so we went for the Econo Lodge. I was a little scared going to a Econo Lodge because they are usual dirty. The location of the hotel is not perfect. You have to drive into a dangerous lane and turn into the... more

Trying to find an affordably-priced motel along the Maine coast on the spur of the moment on a Saturday night in June can be a bit tricky. Although we spent a little more than we wanted ($80 for a non-smoking king), this place seemed a little more inviting than a few of the others down the street. Owner of the... more

This is a perfectly adequate 2-star motel at a very good price. It's located right off the highway, but set back enough that noise is not a problem. My room was not large but clean and comfortable. Check in/out was efficient and friendly. The free continental breakfast was acceptable. more

The motel was simple but very clean and the owners Harry and Anila were very friendly giving us good restaurants addresses and even printed information about some locations in Brunswick and Mid-Coast Maine. We stayed there one night on our way back home and it was worth the money. Probably the best value in Maine! Bruno & Marie (France) more

We used the AAA book to select this motel for a one night stay. We entered the room and the room was outdated and drab. The furniture was old and worn. I went into the bathroom and there was a hole in the ceiling. My husband saw little insects flying about. We gathered our luggage and returned to the front... more

This was a nice place, but it's showing its age. My wife loved it and insisted that it was adorable. It's very well kept, very clean, and even all of the flowers are well cared for. But the furniture looks a tad old, the room is cooled by a standard window air conditioner built into the wall, and the lights... more
