Situated in beautiful Camden, Maine, Cedar Crest Inn is on a wooded lot amid three and one half acres of professionally-landscaped gardens, with a pleasant view of Mt. Battie. Cedar Crest started out as a boarding home in the main house (our present-day lobby) in 1927, changed into overnight cabins, evolved into a modern motel and settled into 2008 as Cedar Crest Inn. Over the years, the rooms have grown in number and are housed in three separate buildings, for a total of 37 guest rooms today. We have many of the up-to-the-minute amenities you would expect from a AAA property. We recently added Wireless Internet in all of our rooms and in our restaurant. We have a heated, outdoor pool, laundry facilities, and our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, specializing in hand tossed pizza. more » « less

My family of 4 just stayed for 1 night this past week at the Cedar Crest Inn. We had a very pleasant stay. We were originally booked in a 2 Dbl room that was located in the front building but were upgraded to a 2 Q room located at the rear of the property. The property seemed very well taken... more

We spent 5 nights at this motel on an Elderhostel Hiking Trip. The food was wonderful, the staff very accommodating and the grounds lovingly cared for with many flowers and attractive landscaping. Local attractions, the library and nearby Rockland, ME art museum and art galleries made it all the more pleasant. Will stay there again when we return to Maine.... more

Good location about a ten-minute walk from Camden. Very clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. (We had a good-sized one-room "mini-suite" with two queen beds and stayed one night en route from Boston to Bar Harbor.) Computer in lobby for free guest use. Restaurant is closed on Mondays so an adequate (free) continental breakfast is served on that day. more

Stopped for an impromptu 1-night stay because I didn't feel like driving any more in a rain storm and hadn't planned a stay in B&B like I would usually prefer. For a roadside motel, the rate was a bit high ($125+tax w/ AAA discount), but I have to give them their props. It was the largest, cleanest motel room one... more

The Cedar Crest is a beautiful small motel that reminded me of the type of inns my parents stayed in when I was a child. The room my wife and I stayed in was the cleanest room we had during our one week trip to Maine. The $85 rate was unbelievable. The grounds are well kept and very well lighted.... more

Just returned from two nights in a deluxe queen room. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-kept appearance of the property from the street. Our check-in was quick and pleasant (as was our check-out), and our room was ready a couple of hours early. The room itself had more of a bedroom feeling than a bland hotel room - very... more
