We spent 5 nights at this motel on an Elderhostel Hiking Trip. The food was wonderful, the staff very accommodating and the grounds lovingly cared for with many flowers and attractive landscaping. Good location about a ten-minute walk from Camden. Very clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. (We had a good-sized one-room "mini-suite" with two queen beds and stayed one night en route from Boston to Bar Harbor.) Computer in lobby for free guest use. Restaurant is closed on Mondays so an adequate (free) continental breakfast is served on that day. more

Stopped for an impromptu 1-night stay because I didn't feel like driving any more in a rain storm and hadn't planned a stay in B&B like I would usually prefer. The Cedar Crest is a beautiful small motel that reminded me of the type of inns my parents stayed in when I was a child. The room my wife and I stayed in was the cleanest room we had during our one week trip to Maine. The $85 rate was unbelievable. The grounds are well kept and very well lighted.... more
