My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this welcoming and historic B & B. David and Jill were very helpful hosts and made arrangements for us to enjoy a lobster dinner at a local restaurant. Our room, the Lieutenant's Quarters, was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was delicious (gingerbread pancakes!) and the dining and living areas... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in mid-September as part of his birthday celebration. We had a wonderful stay at the Chadbourne House! We had never been this far north on the coast and this was a perfect place to stay to explore Way Downeast! The room was impeccably clean and cozy. The "little extras" that Jill and... More

We recently stayed only one night in the "Stargazer Suite". We should have stayed longer! The house is beautifully restored and the amenities are lovely. (We stay in a lot of B&B's and not all of them are so generous with the public space and simple things like coffee, water and sodas always available). The suite was huge and lovely... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Chadbourne House -- wonderfully (and appears very recently) restored property on a very large (double or more) in-town lot, just a couple of blocks from waterfront, shops, restaurants, a museum, and good number of galleries. A small downtown, with a feeling of ongoing re-vitalization. Fun to walk around, including to watch cruise ship... More

The Chadbourne House is a lovely B & B located within walking distance of the downtown area of Eastport. The Innkeepers, Jill and David were wonderful caring people. The room was elegant and comfortable, and the common areas and exterior were also beautiful. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the conversations with the other visitors was delightful. All in... More

The Chadbourne House is a fabulous B&B in Eastport, ME. We were there for two nights in the "Hannah" room. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Inn Keepers were kind and gracious hosts who treated us like family. The food was delicious! The homemade cookies and brownies were certainly enjoyed. We certainly felt welcome and accommodated the... More

1.-Awkward parking if you have anything bigger than a sub compact or minivan 2.-Strict breakfast time; strict and annoying no-shoes past front door policy; strict housekeeping timetable, regardless of whether it's convenient to you; strict everything 3.-Asked for one thing - the availability of Diet Pepsi - only needed one once on second day there, but despite having made a... Yikes! Was this person really here? We have a huge, paved, and well lite, off street parking lot. Breakfast time and shoes off request, as well as room rates and pictures are posted on our web site and email confirmation. Regarding housekeeping, we tried to arrange a later time for the wife as she was sleeping in late after enjoying... More

This was by far the best B and B I have stayed in. I believe the owners Jill and Dave have just about thought of everything to make your stay the best possible. The breakfast was certainly gourmet. I was at first afraid of being hot due to no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan and the cool night was... More

We spent only one night at Chadbourne House but it set the bar for B&Bs in Maine. The room size was spacious yet not overdone with furnishings or knick-knacks. The home was quiet but guests were enticed to enjoy the living room with fresh-baked cookies and K-cup options. The gardens were lovely and several sitting areas outside were inviting. Breakfast...
