We were desperate for a hotel as everything else between Ellsworth and Bar Harbor were full. We ended up at White Birches and with no other options, paid $99 for the night. The front desk clerk was super friendly, but the first room we were given was supposed to be non-smoking and when we walked in it reeked of smoke.... more
We have just returned from a 2 night stay here and while the motel is on the dated side it has all that is needed to use as a home base. There was a problem with our reservation and the young lady at the desk went out of her way to help as did the GM. The rooms are clean... more
