This motel is old but clean. It cost $55 to stay. Farmington is in the middle of nowhere, so from that point of view, it is good to have a place to stay. The owners are nice people. The showers and sinks work nicely. The air conditioning unit is noisy but it beats stuffy sleeping. We slept well. We wish... More

We were 8 golfing girls in Maine for a weekend and had made reservations at the Farmington Motel. Went on website which indicated AAA approved. Looked at a room which was very unsatisfactory for me. At the insistance of the front desk we looked at several rooms and all were totally unsatisfactory for me and my group. Rooms were old... More

I was attending a reunion & needed a motel in the area for two nights at a budget rate. I read reviews & called for prices & settled on this motel. It was fine! The owners were nice. The bed was very comfortable. It had a refrigerator & microwave. I didn't bother to bring my laptop but it supposedly had... More

This is an old facility but the cost is low -- about $55 total. I could hear traffic noise on the road and the shower was not pretty. The front desk people were very friendly and that was good. I did not get the wake up call I requested. Good thing I always travel with a clock. This is a... More

we are locals, and came here for the AC to escape a 3 day heat wave . the OLD philco air conditoner worked just fine, although it started to cough and gag that last morning. a nice, clean, comfortable room. but, (i noticed our smoke detector did not have batteries, and reported it right away--staff was VERY quick to remedy... Let's face it, a hotel that costa $65 is not going to be like staying at the Fairmount. That established, we were pleasantly surprised to find an economical, clean and relatively comfortable motel. The beds were acceptable as was the rest of the place. We slept well. It's a good stopping place for a road weary traveller, and while restaurants... More

the owners back in 07 are not the owners now. The rooms are fine for 50$ and dont reek. Always ask to see a room. Anywhere. This place is a good deal compared to the stinking Comfort INN that sucks for the money. This part of Maine is NOT pretty but the coast is only a few hours away.

Long drive from Calais tried two motels (dumps) then came across this little gem,The people who run the motel were extreamly nice, even found me a cork screw(wine again)the room was large very clean with all the bits you would expect from a hotel .They could put the price up a little and I am sure people would still stay. There was... You spend 1/3 of your life sleeping, you should buy yourself the best mattress you can afford my brother would tell me. The hotel is clean that's true, cute curtains, blow dryer in the bathroom, mini-frig and microwave, but the owner's seemed to have missed the most important thing about staying at a motel, SLEEPING. The BEDs are HARD. I... More

I give this place 4 stars for a no thrill cheap motel. If you want a cheap place for the night, this does the job. Owners were polite if reserved. Room was clean, came with wireless internet, TV, microwave and small fridge. For $35/night, I can't complain. Sugarloaf is 40 minutes away.
