We had a booking with the restaurant 2 months prior our visit with our 12 friends, yet 5 days before our meal and only by chance we learnt that another group (who booked later) was given our seating position in the conservatory. We only stayed one night but we'll be back. Excellent choice of ales, top class meal and large, well presented, room all at reasonable prices. Landlord and team helpful and accommodating.
