Coveside was completely to our taste; a bit off the beaten track, on-site owners, great breakfasts, location with outdoor space. This B&B has one of the most beautiful locations. In the evenings we brought a glass of wine out to the yard over looking the cove and watched the boats bob on the quiet water. Our stay was late in... More

Gorgeous setting both inside and out! Our most gracious and helpful hosts served up the most delicious, seasonal breakfasts. They provided excellent recommendations for both rainy and sunny days, an had many helpful books and maps on hand.

Coveside is an outstanding Inn. It is a really comfortable, off the beaten track, overlooking a charming quiet cove, which leads to the Atlantic.. Tom and Catherine are charming, helpful hosts who do everything to make guests feel at home. They provide tasty breakfasts, give helpful information about the area. They allowed us to bring back our lobsters from the... More

A stay at Coveside was the perfect way to end a trip to Maine. It's one of those places that makes you smile with satisfaction from the moment you walk through the door, or perhaps that should be from the moment you look at the view. Nestled on a tiny cove with a tumbling green garden leading down to the... More

Another year at the imaculately maintained Coveside B&B. The rooms are spotless and the grounds are lovingly maintained. You can even pick some of the blueberries that have not found their way into the muffins. Carolyn,a former star pastery chef makes a wonderful breakfast every day including thos muffins and scones along with crabcakes and inventive omlets along with the... More

We stayed in Alice's room and it has a wonderful view of the cove. Tom greeted us kindly with awesome chocolate chip cookies. Breakfast was good. Place was updated and clean and beautiful! We enjoyed wine down by the water in the adorandak chairs - and even watched some of the olympics up in the "game room". All areas very... More

There are many remarkable elements of a stay at Coveside B&B, and they will all surely reside in your head as happy memories long after your vacation. The following are highlights that my wife and I enjoyed, in no particular order of momentousness: taking the innkeepers’ canoe onto the bay to consort with the wildlife (seagulls, osprey, eagles, and cormorants)... This was our first time in a bed and breakfast. Tom and Carolyn do a fantastic job. The food was good, the scenery spectacular and all of your needs are met. My husband has to be gluten free and Carolyn adapted his breakfast for him. A great place to destress.

Our stay at Coveside was very relaxing and enjoyable. The inn is well maintained and the gardens beautiful. Our room had a sitting area and a private deck which was very comfortable when we returned from exploring the area. The breakfasts were delicious and the conversations with Tom were delightful. It was a very peaceful visit and we are looking... More
