This was a gem of place to stay. The owners were warm and welcoming, and did everything they could to make our stay memorable, including waking up early to see us off. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the whole place was very clean. I loved that there were homeade cookies to eat with tea and coffee at any time... more

The Chickadee Bed and Breakfast is located on a residential road comfortably away from the busy Route 1 shopping district of Kittery, Me, but it is conveniently close to all of the outlet stores. I hope this one won't become so popular that it keeps me from getting a room! The Chickadee is a little B & B just a short walk from the Kittery outlets. It's on a quiet side street, which we viewed from a cute front porch, surrounded by a pretty garden. The owners brought use pitchers of iced water there... more
