We spent Columbus Day weekend at this charming Inn with friends. Our room had the most comfortable bed, and we loved lighting the fire place on the cool nights. The smells from the restaurant were too much to resist, both morning and night. Breakfast each day was a different gourmet selection, including the lightest and fluffiest blueberry pancakes I've ever... more

We wanted a romantic getaway. We were very pleased with the room. It was cozy with a fireplace, which added to the ambiance. We chose the package that included dinner as well as breakfast. That was our best decision the food was amazing. I can't say enough about the food. All in all this is a very good place and... more

Would recommend to a friend! The Youngtown Inn is very comfortable as well as beautiful. Special touches such as homemade macoroons and choc chip cookies ... welcomed us. The owner is a chef trained throughout Europe and his cooking was exquisite as well as beautiful enough to be photographeed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a french flair! it... more

This is a very special spot. Just minutes away from the best of Maine and Camden but quiet and serene. Beautiful guest rooms with decks overlooking the trees...all amenities with coffee, special teas, sherry and fresh baked cookies always available.BUT come for the chef! True french dining with a rack of lamb that is legendary. Also.......the soufles. The vegetables were... more

We returned again just last week and continue to be amazed with the consistency of service and comfort. It's not only the Inn that continues to attract us but also the top notch Restaurant. Even if you're staying elsewhere, we recommend trying the restaurant. Our favorite is the Rack of Lamb topped off with the Blueberry Souffle. more

We had a wonderful vacation in Maine. We especially enjoyed our stay at the Youngtown Inn,and dinning in the Resturant. we didn't have to go far after having a wonderful meal. Also liked not being on crowded route one. But close enough to see all the sight's in Camden, with it's beatiful harbor. more

Visiting area over 15 years and the Youngtown Inn is our favorite spot. The food, ambience and service are top notch. My favorite is the Rack of Lamb which over the years has always been delightful. The Youngtown Inn like wine improves with age. We look forward to our next encouter with their culinary delight. more

From the moment we arrived we knew we were someplace special. My fiancée had never been to Maine and I hadn't been there for years, so we took the advice of a family friend and found The Youngtown Inn. The inn rooms were gorgeous... the innkeepers were so friendly and the food divine. I think we may take a trip... more

We did not stay at, but had dinner at this inn a couple of weeks ago and were disappointed by the food and the value. We ordered the house made pate, and for $12 got two slabs of "something" which did not look or taste like pate, two cornichons, couple of pieces of toast and a tiny bit of salad.... more

The Youngtown Inn is the perfect combination of getting away from it all, and being close enough to everything we wanted to do and see during our recent trip to Maine - the harbor, the mountains, downtown Camden.... The Inn is just full of character and charm (it was originally a farmhouse built in 1810!), with the wide-plank flooring and... more
